Apple and Microsoft returned to the war mattresses
Recent updates by Apple and Microsoft Windows have resulted in slowdowns and bugs and crashes for users of other software that use their platforms, but some people think that both companies are using their automatic, updates to slow down older software and technologies to force users to spend more money

Earlier this year, Apple began selling the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X. And right about that same time, updates to the older iPhones, including the iPhone6 began slowing those older systems down.
Users are complaining that their older iPhones are taking forever to load. Voicemail messages are taking forever to just show up on your phone and it has nothing to do with Internet speed. It has everything to do with Greed.
Microsoft has been pushing its Office 365 subscription system abandoning the old system of selling software straight out and forcing users to “lease” or “rent” software for life.
But in recent weeks, Apple and MacBook owners who prefer Windows Office have discovered that the new Apple IOS update is screwing up their software systems.
The Mac Operating System HighSierra is a good example. What this new update is doing is tampering with your Office Outlook for Mac systems. When you shut down your Office Outlook system or reboot your computer, the HighSierra System is erasing your “saved” email password files forcing you to re-enter them every time you rerun the Outlook system.
Outlook has a new update to address that problem, but it’s so cumbersome.
These Update Wars are getting in the way of productivity.
I’m not surprised by the Apple culture which stems from Steve Jobs, who was abandoned by his biological father and his biological mother as a baby.
Apple has returned to that insensitive culture and they are abandoning older iPhone technology users solely for the purpose of forcing you to throw out your beloved iPhone6 systems and forcing you to spend a lot of money.
Computer technology must have hired technicians from the auto industry which for years produced crappy, unstable vehicles that they knew would only last a few years because they wanted to sell you a new car.
How else did the auto industry make huge profits?
Ripping off the consumer is the best way for businesses today to super charge their balance sheets and stuff their bank accounts.
No one cares about the consumer any more. It’s all about forcing the consumer to purchase new stuff, junk that within a year or even months becomes outdated and has to be upgraded.
There’s no quality.
I bought a Fitbit watch several years ago. The technology works but the rubberized wrist band is falling apart. It only cost me $300-plus dollars. When I reached out to Fitbit, they graciously offered me a discount to purchase a new one.
Honestly, there are a lot of systems out there that measure treadmill and health club workouts. And if the Fitbit system can’t survive, why would I buy it again?
It’s the same with Apple and Microsoft.
They don’t care about you as a consumer who demands reliability and functionality. They are selling “fads.” Instant gratification that burns out quickly and needs to be replaced by new “need.” You “need” to spend hundreds of dollars in the Apple and Microsoft culture to stay happy.
It’s tragic. It’s making America fall apart.
All the genius can’t seem to come up with a product that can last and be easily updated with the focus of the consumer’s interests in mind rather than the revenue interests of the companies?
Apple doesn’t care about you. They care about themselves. You’re just an orphan tossed into oblivion. Microsoft’s billionaire boss Bill Gates doesn’t care about you. He can give out all the millions he wants to good causes to make himself look good, but a million dollars to him is the equivalent of 25 cents to the average person.
When you give a homeless person $10 or $25, you are doing more to help the poor than Bill Gates could ever do. That $25 means more to you as a hard working person than Bill Gates, who is a super wealthy robber baron.
